INT & S & FIN & DK & EST CH Fennican Fabulous Fabian (EUV-91 FIN CH Riavallens Snoddas - FIN CH Fennican Amaryllis) - Fennican Donna Divina (FIN CH Soltorpets August - FIN CH W-90 Elke´s Wasti Vildhonung). There were 1+5 puppies (0+1 natural bobtails). I had great expectations on this litter - they looked very promising and they all got promising homes, too. Every buyer was eager to go to shows with their puppies! I kept one female puppy for myself for further breeding. I put her into a family to grow up and we had an agreement that I could use her for breeding once. I never got that chance, she was hit by a car at the age of 6 months and killed. After all, only one of them, Candy went to shows. She won her two first shows and wasn´t shown anymore after that! Three of these puppies had bad hips (C-D) and later I X-rayed their mother, too. She had, to my great surprise, D-hips and I didn´t use her anymore. After that I have never done a combination where one of the parents was not X-rayed. |

Fennican Egon Egoist (Soltorpets August - Grålötens Jazziga Jänta) and mother was Busy. There were 3+3 puppies and all of them had tail. One male and one female were docked and this was the last litter this was done. I found docking so unpleasant thing to do, that I decided that in the future, every puppy who has tail can also keep it. All of these puppies got homes from families who didn´t go to shows - exept Domino, who became Finnish Champion of Beauty. Kind of a pity, because they all were promising puppies but what I have heard, they all have been healthy dogs and have brought a lot of joy to their owners and that is the most important thing after all. One of them, Darling, was once in a big Finnish Newspaper, Aamu-lehti, too. There was a story about her written by her owner, Matti Kuusela. The name of the story was " The secret life of Armi Kuusela". Armi Kuusela was a Finnish Miss Universe in the 50´s and Darling had got her nickname on the first trip from here to her new home because she was so beautiful ;-) .It was a really funny and nice story and made our breed more known once again. In Darlings life there was one really shocking moment, too. She was standing in the middle of the railway when a train went over her! Luckily she has so short legs and she was clever enough (or in shock) to stay still - so, the train didn´t hit her! So, who says, that the short legs are bad! |

This is FIN CH Jaxonville Domino in autumn 2000, so he is 7,5 years old here. He has been shown only a few times and has got three times Cert-quality, three Certs and two Cacibs, been the best of breed and the best of opposite sex… Then his family started to get their own children and Domino has been mostly babysitting last years. At december 2000 Domino got a visit by a famous lady, Int & Nord Ch Aspenhill Primula and the result was two little girls with tail in kennel Aspenhill, Sweden. Also kennel Konnunkodon from Finland chose him as father to Konnunkodon B-litter and that combination produced 8 puppies! One of those puppies, Konnunkodon Brunhilde, travelled far away, to USA. We have seen Domino´s descendants in some shows already. Most succesfull so far has been female FIN N LTU CH LTUW-04 Vilna W-04 Konnunkodon Buffy, owned by Maj-Len Påfs. If I had a suitable female I had used Domino myself, too. Domino has also got some prizes from Agility and he likes it a lot. In addition he was once In an obedience competition and got 1 st. prize. According to his owner, Minna Kemppainen, his most important job has been done as a training dog in the local school. For five years he has been as "teaching material" in the animal care -lessons. |

In C-litter there was beuty but their hips were not very good… and that is the reason I never went on with this combination. D-litter was better but most of the puppies ended to pet homes. Only Domino was used in breeding twice and his line continues now in Finland via Konnunkodon B-litter and Aspenhill Tuvstarr in Sweden. |
