At very young age I became a member of Saksanpaimenkoiraliitto (Finnish German Shepheard association) and quite soon I found myself working in the local club  of it.  One thing lead to another and sooner than I realized, I was a member of board, organizing the training of dogs and arranging all kinds of happenings…

After a couple of years I moved on to the national level, started to edit our magazine (10 numbers a year), got the judging rights and so on. I´ll save you and won´t  start to tell the detailed version ;-) In the year 1978 I got my kennel-name, Jaxonville.

In between I trained my own dogs and went to competitions with them.  In the summertime we did obedience, tracking, rescue, IPO and in winters we went to cross country skiing competions where the dog  pulls the pulka and the handler skii´s.

Starting from 1983 I had three dogs, who became more important to me than the others and they are:

I really got in to the dogs world…

My calender was full  every day for months before - now I just wonder,  what if I  had put all that energy into studying or building a business…

Extas Rebell  D 1a, JK, HK,

IPO 3, Vss, V , LT +2, B (Harro v Trienzbachtal - Rommy v Trienzbachtal)

Rebell was widely used in breeding and had about  250 descendants. Very many of them in Police forces, army and in security companies. He was Finlands first IPO-dog.  Rebell was with me  18.6.1983 - 20.8.1993.

FIN CH Fennican Master  D 1a, JK, HK, IPO 3, V,  Vss, LT +3, B(Gonrad - Fennican Athima). Also Master was widely used and he had about 200 descendants, many of them in Police, army and security. Master´s motherline went direct to Beringens Linda (Jaxon´s mother).

23.7.1987 - 30.9.1999

Bacteroides Epizoon  (Karo v Asbacher Land - Bacteroides Nasty) JK, V, LT +2, B-C

Emma came to me in the worst possible time and I didn´t have enough time to concentrate in her proper training but she has the qualities for everything!  She is the mother of Jaxonville C, D, F and H - shepherd litters.

15.10.1988 -  12.03.2003

In the early 90´s I realised that I had far too many dogs. There were 8 German shepherds and 2 SV´s + the puppies. I had one employee full time to take care of the dogs, but it wasn´t enough. I was running a labour hiring business, studying and intensively within different kinds of dog organisations. Enough is enough! I started to place my dogs to families, where they got the attention they deserved. To take too many dogs is far too easy but to give them away isn´t, even one knows it´s better for the dogs. Never say never… but I´ll never want collect that many dogs to live here anymore!

And here is Emma 24.7.2001. She was almost 13 years old  here but still in good condition.  12.03.2003 it was time for Emma to move on and meet all her friends on the other side again.  It was hard to let her go, but I am gratefull that I could have her so long.  She was 14.5 years old when she left me.
