Finally, after almost 2,5 years a new Jaxonville litter was born! Only two girls, but after several times trying to produce a litter this was more than enough! The other girl was redbrown like her mother but with a nice curly tail and the other again like her father, gray but with stub tail ;-). A real mix of their parents. Unfortunately there were more puppybuyers on the waiting list, specially males were wanted… but Alma continued her mothers tradition, producing only girls ;-). Althoug mating was really difficult with Alma, she handled everyting wonderfully and I have never had easier litter. She litterally took care of everything to the very last day puppies spent here. Most difficult part was when puppies had left to their new homes and Alma seeked her children over a week. She was crying and seeking from every possible place and every time we came in she started it over again. Both girls got nice homes in families with kids and I hope to see them in some shows in the future. The other lives in Tikkakoski, in the middle of Finland and the other in Raisio, just about 90 km´s from Rauma. Idylli Illi has got two CC:s by now and both from Jyväskylä International Show and Impulssi Ida was BOB-puppy in her first show. |

Alma was wonderfully patient with her kids. No matter how much they bited, she was always willing to play and wash and feed them. Only a parrot, i bought to puppies was too much… maybe it was the sound of it or maybe something else… I don´t know. But that one toy she always stole from her kids and carried it on the sofa or some other place the puppies could not reach ;-). |
