The Stenrikas B-litter in whole. Quess how difficult it was to choose a puppy among these! I spent several hours in sitting and observing these puppies. First they looked so alike that I thought I never can make my mind up but after a while I found that there were two girls that I liked even more than the other two, so it became a bit easier.

Eva-Maj had decided to keep one of the girls herself and she liked the same ones I did ;-). Bessie is in the middle of this pic, she had the longest bobtail.

Bessies first show was Jyväskylä International 17.11.2001. Breed judge was Hanne Laine Jensen fron Denmark and she placed Bessy as BOB-puppy. In addition, in the big ring she became BIS-2 puppy by Gunnel Holm. Quite a Show start, isn´t it. Only a couple of weeks after was the big Finnish Winner Show

in Helsinki and she did it again! Was placed in the big ring! And that all was only the beginning… :-)

Nex time she went to a show, she was already in the junior class… but thats another story ;-) .

Because everything in my breeding program was based on Fennican Ahkeraliisas daughters and most of the best SV:s in Finland were related to her, I had huge problems in planning new litters. That is why I turned my face to Sweden, in order to find some new blood. From south of Sweden, Stenrikas kennel, I found an interesting litter-- and Bessie in there.

I have never seen a SV litter as homogenous as these puppies were. When I left back home, I had an agreement of taking Bessie to Finland after a couple of weeks. I thought that she looked too good to be true and was wondering what had I missed ;-). Well, later on I found out that I really was lucky! She has grown so beautifully and been a lot more I ever had courage to dream of. She is "a stunning businesslike showgirl" just like Liz Gartledge described her in Halmstad Show in the summer 2003.
